Day 1 - Lima
Arrival
Arrival to the city of Lima, assistance and hotel transfer. The rest of the morning and
afternoon will be at your leisure. We suggest to walk around Miraflores, the most
cosmopolitan and touristic neighborhood in Lima. It is a great place to do shopping, eat in
the finest restaurants or just to walk around the parks located at the top of the cliffs and
enjoy the magnificent Pacific Ocean view.

Day 2 - Lima
City tour & evening at Larco Museum
We will begin our journey sightseeing the main streets, plazas and avenues of the beautiful
city of Lima. We will start at the Lovers’ Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the
Pacific Ocean. Then we will have a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial
center of the early inhabitants of Lima and in San Isidro, the financial center of the city. We
will appreciate Huaca Huallamarca and ancient pre-Inca shrine. Then we will head for the
Main Square, where we will find the Palace of Government and the City Hall. Here we will
visit the Cathedral and walk to Saint Francisco Convent of the XVIIth, century, where we will
be able to explore its famous catacombs.
Lunch will be at Saqra restaurant, where a colorful and relaxed ambiance will be the best
way to have a first encounter with the worldwide famous Peruvian cuisine. This restaurant
offers us a unique and modern way to try the most traditional Peruvian dishes.
Afterwards, we will enjoy a unique evening visit in the most prestigious museum in the city.
We will climb the lit of the pre-Columbian pyramid where the Larco Museum is built and we
will discover the treasures of ancient Peru walking along its halls and galleries. At the end,
we will be able to enjoy an exquisite dinner in a magical and romantic atmosphere
surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Day 3 - Lima
Culinary Tour & Barranco
Today we will have an exquisite tour of tastes and flavors that have made Lima the culinary
capital of Latin America. We will start by visiting the local market to learn about the fruits,
vegetables, legumes and other products used in our cuisine for centuries. We will learn the
secrets of Peruvian gastronomy having a culinary class that will reveal how to prepare the
most famous Peruvian dishes and will be able to taste our creations. Return to the hotel.
In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most beautiful and traditional districts of Lima:
Barranco, known as the bohemian district of the capital and home of the most renowned
plastic artists of Peru. Our visit will begin at Pedro de Osma museum, an ancient palace of
republican style that treasures pieces of Colonial art. A visit to this museum not only shows
us a hidden part of Lima, but also it is the perfect way to understand the history of the
ancient capital of the viceroyalty. Then we will visit the art galleries that are located nearby.
According to the passengers’ interests, we will have time to visit another gallery of
handicrafts, a gallery of modern art or a gallery of utilitarian art.

Day 4 - Lima - Sacred Valley
Pisaq & Ollantaytambo
At arranged time, we will be transferred to the airport and take the flight to Cusco. At our
arrival, we will go straight to the Sacred Valley. We will explore the Pisaq Market with
enough free time to go around and buy handcrafts and if you feel like tasting something
traditional we will stop by the wood ovens for having a delicious empanada or a piece of
bread. We will have Lunch at Wayra Restaurant.
We will finish our tour in Ollantaytambo, a small colorful town full inhabited since Inca times
in which we will visit the main temple which was used as a fortress during the Inca
resistance.

Day 5 - Sacred Valley
Chinchero, Maras & Moray
We will start the day in Chinchero with a walk around its beautiful town and archaeological
complex. We will also have the opportunity to see a short exhibition of traditional textiles. A
distinctive feature of this town is the dedicated ancestral dyeing techniques to create high
quality pieces of art. Then we will continue in Moray, a place with breathtaking views
created by its colossal concentric terraces resembling a coliseum. The terraces recreate
20 different types of microclimates and they were studied to ensure the agricultural
production of the empire.
In Maras, the millenary colonial salt mines, you will be able to see this unique and
extraordinary contrast of the white pools against the green lush valley. Return to the hotel
and overnight stay in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Day 6 - Machu Picchu
Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu- Hiram Bingham Train
Morning departure to Ollantaytambo Station. We will board into one of the most spectacular
rides on the exclusive Hiram Bingham deluxe train.
The experience on board is genuinely first class. The train’s classic style matches perfectly
with the dining room arrangement, where we will have a delightful lunch carefully prepared
for us by distinguished chefs. On board appreciate the ravishing landscape that goes from
the Urubamba River all the way to the canyon, where we will arrive at Machu Picchu
Village.
From there, we will take a small bus up the winding road to Machu Picchu (25 to 30
minutes). The Lost City of the Incas will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines,
steps and the solar clock, all this amid a special atmosphere and on a guided tour.
Following the tour, we will have a tea at the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel. We will visit the village
and then we’ll come back to the hotel.
At the arranged time, we will return to Cusco by train and will be transferred to our hotel.

Day 7 - Cusco
Sacsayhuaman Archeological Park, City Tour & Farewell dinner
Early in the morning we will visit Sacsayhuaman, a huge and impressive fortress of colossal
constructions which is surrounded by beautiful views. Our adventure continues at the Inca
shrine Qenqo, we will see a sacrificial altar built inside a rock cave. Later we will arrive to
the Puca Pucara viewpoint and Tambomachay which is a monument of impressive
architectonic knowledge considered as one of the pillars of Andean cosmovision.
Then we will go to Limo restaurant for having lunch. This restaurant is well known for
blending typical Peruvian dishes and ingredients with modern techniques, having as result
a fun and young ambiance.
After lunch, we will take our exclusive city tour with a visit to the San Cristobal Plaza and
enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Then we will visit the San Pedro Market to immerse in its
local flavors we will learn more about the products grown in the area. After this, the
Korikancha temple will welcome us in all its magnificence; this temple, whose Quechua
name means “Gold Enclosure” still impress us with the thought of its gold covered walls.
We will visit Santo Domingo Church, and then we will walk from San Blas, the artisans’
neighborhood, all to way to Hatun Rumiyoc Street, stopping at the Inca Roca Palace,
nowadays home to the Archbishop’s Palace and also at the famous Twelve Angle Stone.
We will continue our walk to the Main Square and we will visit the Cathedral which holds
valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces. Return to the hotel.
At night we will go the stunning MAP Café. This restaurant is a glass cube located in the
middle of the patio of the Pre Columbian Art Museum.

At arranged time we will transfer to the airport and flight back to Lima, then connection to
your International flight or you can add an optional extension to your trip.
